La Roche University Board of Trustees Elects New Members

PITTSBURGH, April 11, 2024 – The Board of Trustees at La Roche University recently welcomed two new members: Sister Peg Albert, OP, Ph.D., and Victor R. Siclari, Esq

Sister Peg Albert, OP, Ph.D.
Sister Peg is President Emerita of Siena Heights University in Adrian, Michigan. Under her leadership, Siena Heights achieved record growth in enrollment and campus facilities. She served as president for 17 years before retiring in June 2023.

Before becoming the 10th president of Siena Heights, she was an associate professor of social work, counselor and executive vice president at Barry University in Miami, Florida from 1983 to 2006.

Sister Peg earned a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from Wayne State University, and master’s and doctorate degrees in social work from Barry University. She completed post-doctoral work at the Institute for Educational Management at Harvard Graduate School of Education and completed post-doctoral classes at Barry.

Siena Heights University named its Sister Peg Albert Social Work Simulation and Practice Lab in honor of her social work history and contributions to the university.

Sister Peg is a member of the Dominican Sisters of Adrian Congregation

Victor Siclari, Esq.
Mr. Siclari is a seasoned financial services regulatory attorney with extensive legal, regulatory, and risk and compliance experience from working at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, two law firms, two national financial services firms and two global financial institutions. He partners with business leaders, sales/marketing and executive management to find risk-based, practical solutions to accomplish business goals.

Mr. Siclari has influenced legislation and regulation affecting the financial services industry by partnering with industry trade associations and regulatory affairs personnel to meet with legislators and regulators, to educate them about concerns, and offer alternative approaches through comment letters. He is currently the Chief Compliance Officer for Great Gray Trust Company, LLC.

Previously Mr. Siclari served as senior vice president and senior fiduciary compliance manager for Wilmington Trust and senior attorney for USAA. His roles with BNY Mellon include managing director and executive manager of compliance and controls, and associate general counsel and managing director.

Mr. Siclari is Director Emeritus and a committee member of HEARTH, a Pittsburgh-based nonprofit organization with the mission of providing transitional housing, educational/vocational training, and supportive services to families fleeing domestic violence or experiencing homelessness. 

Mr. Siclari earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Spanish Literature from Hofstra University, Juris Doctor from the University at Buffalo School of Law and Master of Laws in securities regulation from Georgetown University Law Center.
