La Roche College Students Inducted Into International Business Honor Society

 PITTSBURGH, April 17, 2015 – This month 12 La Roche University students became members of Delta Mu Delta, the international honor society in business.

Delta Mu Delta membership is the highest recognition a business student can earn. Only juniors and seniors with a grade point average of 3.2 or higher are eligible for the honor society. The organization promotes higher scholarship in training for business and recognizes scholastic attainment in business subjects.

The following students became Delta Mu Delta members at an induction ceremony at La Roche on Sunday, April 12:

Jaffar Mohammed Alobaid of Pittsburgh, Pa. (originally from Qatif, Saudi Arabia); Ali Salman Al Sinan of Pittsburgh Pa. (originally from Qatif, Saudi Arabia); Shaker Hashem Azmerli of Pittsburgh, Pa. (originally from Jordan); Tiffany A. Babinsack of West Chester, Pa.; Peter Michael Biernesser of Glenshaw, Pa.; Kaitlyn Hendrickson of Beaver Falls, Pa.; Genna MacDonald of Allison Park, Pa.; Derek E. Meeder of Glenshaw, Pa.; Amy D. Nichols of Observatory Hill, Pa.; Paige M. White of Chicora, Pa.; Andrew J. Wolf of Aspinwall, Pa.; and Christian A. Wolosik of Pittsburgh, Pa.

Assistant Professor and Management Department Chair Michaela A. Noakes also was recognized as an honorary inductee. Professor Noakes will serve as the new primary advisor for the Delta Mu Delta chapter at La Roche.

Undergraduate offerings include accounting, finance, international management, information systems technology, international studies, management information systems, leadership, applied sciences and marketing.
