ACBSP Reaffirms Accreditation of La Roche College Business Programs

PITTSBURGH, Oct. 20, 2016 – The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) Baccalaureate/Graduate Degree Board of Commissioners has reaffirmed accreditation of the business programs at La Roche University.

“As a College that highly values continuous improvement and academic quality, we are pleased to be continuing the tradition of excellence that ACBSP reaccreditation affirms,” Lynn Archer, Ed.D., co-chair of the Management Division, said.

Established in 1988, ACBSP is the only organization offering specialized business accreditation for all degree levels, from associate and baccalaureate to doctoral degree programs. ACBSP accreditation certifies that the teaching and learning processes within the Management Division at La Roche meet the rigorous educational standards established by ACBSP. La Roche was first accredited by ACBSP in 1995 and is required to go through the reaffirmation process every 10 years to maintain ACBSP accreditation.

“La Roche University has shown their commitment to teaching excellence and to the process of quality improvement by participating in the accreditation process,” ACBSP Chief Accreditation Officer Dr. Steve Parscale, said. “This reaffirmation of accreditation is evidence that La Roche University is committed to maintaining the highest quality business education for its students for the next 10 years, just as they have done since 1995.”

The Business Group of La Roche’s Management Division includes programs in: management, finance, international management, accounting, marketing and management information systems. Students in these programs acquire proficiency in all traditional core areas of business management, as well as their selected area of focus. The Business Group incorporates an interdisciplinary perspective through its professional and liberal education, leading to successful, just leaders within a constantly changing global society.
