Dear Prospective Student,
La Roche College offers you the opportunity to change and expand your world. Here, you will find outstanding academic excellence combined with all of the advantages of small classes and personal attention from faculty.
You can study interior design in the only nationally accredited program in the Pittsburgh region. Or learn criminal justice from a professor with more than 20 years of experience in the FBI. Our unique hands-on approach in the sciences has prepared students to go on to top graduate schools such as Stanford, Purdue and the University of Maryland. And those are just a few of the more than 50 majors available to you.
You will learn with and get to know students from across the country and around the world. Sitting next to you in class could easily be someone from New York or Nepal, or you might be sharing lunch in the dining hall with someone from Baltimore or Bosnia. We take great pride in the fact that a La Roche College education prepares our students for global citizenship.
That education goes well beyond the classroom. You can participate in one of the more than 30 student organizations – everything from the accounting society to the roller hockey club. Opportunities abound, as well, to give something back, whether it is participating in an alternative spring break trip to help hurricane victims or planning a conference on global issues with involvement by United Nations representatives.
All of this takes place on a campus that offers the benefits of a suburban location while being only minutes away from all of the arts, cultural and sports amenities of a major metropolitan area.
Another major plus for La Roche is its affordability. Thanks to available financial aid, our net cost is the lowest of any private college or university in the region, and La Roche graduates leave school with the lowest average debt for students from area institutions.
La Roche has a lot to offer and I encourage you to learn more about the College. Come visit us, talk to our faculty and staff, tour the campus. Once you do, we’re convinced that you will want to be a part of the La Roche College community.
