
La Roche College is proud to be ranked as one of the safest four-year private colleges in the United States *. We are committed to making sure you feel safe when you enroll at La Roche.
- Each residence hall has electronic keycard access at the entrance, and it is in operation 24 hours a day. That means only students, staff and faculty can access the halls with an authorized keycard.
- The College has nearly 30 security phones on campus. Anyone who picks up the receiver is automatically connected to the
public safety officer
on duty on campus.
- La Roche College public safety officers are available to assist you 24 hours a day, seven days a week. They can also provide a security escort for you (upon request).
- La Roche College offers programs during orientation for students on basic personal safety techniques, including locking your doors, reporting suspicious activity, remaining with guests at all times and acquiring guest passes for overnight guests.
By publishing the Annual Security Report, the La Roche College Office of Public Safety demonstrates its compliance with the requirements of the Pennsylvania College and University Security Information Act and the Jeanne Clergy Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act. The manual provides relevant statistics, information on college policies, regulations regarding campus security and safety tips.
