The writing curriculum is designed to prepare students for careers in public relations, business communications and publications, advertising, writing, journalism and technical writing. To complete the professional writing major successfully, the following course work is required:- 45 required English credits (recommended electives: EN 312, EN 451)
- 12 managememt and design component credits
- 63 required credits from major electives (as shown below) and core and general electives (these credits are selected by the student and advisor. Some of these 69 credits will necessarily include core curriculum requirements)
A minimum of 120 credits is required for graduation, the last 30 of which must be earned at La Roche College.
