The Human Services program is designed to prepare students for both direct-service and administrative positions in various human service agencies and institutions, to provide students with a multidisciplinary education and supervised experiences in the field. The Human Services Program is designed to preserve students' option to choose graduate study by combining academic preparation with skills training. This major cannot be doubled with a major or minor in Psychology or Sociology.To successfully complete the Human Services major, a minimum of 120 credits is required for graduation, the last 30 of which must be earned at La Roche College. Required course work consists of:
- 39 credits of Human Services major requirements
- 24 credits of major electives
- 37 credits of Core requirements
- 20 credits of general electives
