To complete a minor in molecular biology, a minimum of 24 credits must be taken in biology. The student can expect to take three academic years to complete the minor because many upper level biology courses are offered on a two-year cycle. Note: Prerequisites for Molecular Biology and Laboratory include General and Organic Chemistry (CH 101, CH 102, CH 103, CH 104, CH 215 or permission of instructor).
