A 3 + 2 program available in conjunction with the University of Pittsburgh School of Engineering, this program leads to a B.S. degree in Computer Science from La Roche College, and a B.S.E. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. Students will complete three years of study at La Roche College and two years at the University of Pittsburgh.To complete the dual major, a total of 162 credits is required, 105 from La Roche College, and 57 from the University of Pittsburgh. The required coursework to obtain the La Roche College degree in Computer Science consists of:
- 30 credits of computer-science courses
- 8 credits in Chemistry
- 24 credits in Mathematics
- 16 credits in Physics
- 3 credits in Accounting
- 9 computer application credits (taken at University of Pittsburgh)
- 31 credits Core Curriculum Requirements.
