A 3 + 2 program available in conjunction with the University of Pittsburgh School of Engineering, this program leads to a B.S. degree in Mathematics from La Roche College, and a B.S.E. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. Students will complete three years of study at La Roche College and two at the University of Pittsburgh.To complete the dual major, a total of 162 credits is required, 105 from La Roche College and 57 from the University of Pittsburgh. The required coursework consists of:
- 42 credits in mathematics, 6 of which will be earned at the University of Pittsburgh (note that students have options within the courses shown below)
- 12 credits in Physics
- 8 credits in Chemistry
- 3 credits in Accounting
- 7 credits in Computer Science
- 3 credits of technical elective selected with the approval of the academic advisor
- 57 credits in Industrial Engineering taken at the University of Pittsburgh
- 30 credits to satisfy the remaining Core Curriculum requirements not covered above
