One of several 3 + 2 programs available in conjunction with the University of Pittsburgh School of Engineering, this program leads to a B.S. degree in Chemistry from La Roche College, and a B.S.E. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. Students will complete three years of study at La Roche College and two years at the University of Pittsburgh.To complete the dual major, a total of 154 credits is required, 99 from La Roche College and 55 from the University of Pittsburgh. The required course work consists of
- 32 credits in the Chemistry Core
- 35 additional credits of other science and mathematics courses
- 55 credits from the University of Pittsburgh School of Engineering
- 31 credits of CORE Curriculum courses
