A Message from the Director

Welcome to the Academy of Dance at La Roche College. The Academy is designed for students in grades 6 through 12 and is intended to train and educate young minds and bodies in the Vaganova and American ballet techniques and traditions. Staff members are highly trained professional dancers and dance educators who are committed to helping students reach their potential. Because of its affiliation with the La Roche College Dance Department, the Academy enables students to watch, learn and experience the college and academic side of dance while providing
performance experience and opportunity alongside college dancers.
