The La Roche College Softball Team has been one the most successful programs in NCAA Div III in the tri-state area. The Lady Redhawks play a fall and spring season, including a spring training trip to Florida. Under the guidance of Head Coach Orie Gentile, the Lady Redhawks have won three consecutive Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference during the 2000-2002 seasons.
Since the hiring of Coach Gentile, the La Roche Softball team has a record of 195-88 and is always looking forward to another successful season.

Head Softball Coach
Orie Gentile begins his 11th season as the La Roche Redhawks Softball coach. Gentile brings over 20 years of coaching experience to La Roche. Gentile help lead the Lady Redhawks to three consecutive Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference championships, during the years of 2000-2002. During the 2000 and 2002 campaign, Gentile was awarded Coach of the Year by the AMCC. Gentile, throughout his years at La Roche has career record of 195-88 with a .704 winning percentage, including numerous 1st team all-conference players as well as 2003 AMCC Player of the Year Amy Kurtz, and 2004 Chrystal Delgado.
