One of several 3 + 2 programs available in conjunction with the University of Pittsburgh School of Engineering, this program leads to a B.S. degree in Chemistry from La Roche College, and a B.S.E. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. Students will complete three years of study at La Roche College and two years at the University of Pittsburgh.

To complete the dual major, a total of 154 credits is required, 99 from La Roche College and 55 from the University of Pittsburgh. The required course work consists of

  • 32 credits in the Chemistry Core
  • 35 additional credits of other science and mathematics courses
  • 55 credits from the University of Pittsburgh School of Engineering
  • 31 credits of CORE Curriculum courses
