The La Roche College Board of Regents is a membership
organization of individuals familiar with the mission, goals and
accomplishments of La Roche College and who are committed to support
the College in a variety of ways.
The primary purpose of the Regents is to support the mission of the College by aiding the administration in meeting specific institutional goals and objectives as identified by the Vice President for Development.
Members of the Board of Regents are charged with several responsibilities:
— To raise the visibility of La Roche
College to the business community of western Pennsylvania.
— To assist the College in fund raising
activities such as high profile special events and corporate and
foundation relations.
— A willingness to invest professional
talents and resources, when appropriate, for the benefit of La
Roche College.
The College intends to provide the following
benefits for members
of the Board of Regents:
— Recognition of the Regent organization
as an integral and vital component toward the future growth and
success of La Roche College
— Keep members informed of the activities,
progress and future plans of the College
— Provide two meetings (fall & spring)
at the College to give members an opportunity to meet other members
— Include members on the La Roche College
mailing lists to receive publications and notices for events (Annual
Report, College Magazine, lecture/performing arts series, etc.)
— Provide opportunities for Regents to
interact with La Roche College students through programs such
as the La Roche College Mentors Program and student internship
programs
