The La Roche Community
We are a private, co-educational entity welcoming students of all religions, ethnic origins and talents. More than 40 countries and 22 U.S. states are represented on our suburban campus, nestled in the lush green North Hills of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, a city rated in 2007 as the top metropolitan U.S. city in which to live by Places Rated Almanac.
Students who study here have experiences that reflect cultures they’ll experience in their lifetimes, as we live in a world that is a global marketplace. The opportunity doesn’t stop within our campus environment, however. Students at La Roche College have a unique opportunity to participate in one of our newest programs: Study Abroad/Study USA. As juniors, students will have the opportunity to select from one of more than 30 multicultural opportunities, either internationally or in the domestic United States, to study in their chosen field – all included in the cost of their tuition!
We have 50-plus undergraduate majors, 20 undergraduate minors and three graduate level programs, and a myriad of athletic teams, community volunteer opportunities, clubs, social activities and athletic facilities to complement a student during his or her academic career. Advanced technology – from redesigned classrooms equipped with SMARTboards and wireless classrooms -- to spacious, well-equipped living arrangements – enhance learning experiences at La Roche. In addition, we pride ourselves on the personal instruction and attention our motivated, dynamic faculty and staff are able to provide within classroom settings because of the priorities we set on keeping class sizes small.
