Do you provide airport pick-up?
Yes, we do. Please make sure to email us or fax us your arrival information, such as date and time of arrival, flight number and city you are flying from.
Can I get a job on campus?
International students are permitted to work on campus. They can apply for a job in the Dining Hall at the College. Not all students will be able to get a job on campus immediately, but every semester there are a few openings.
When is tuition payment due?
Payment is due at the beginning of each semester for that semester. Students can also enroll in a payment plan. All students need to make payments on time in order to maintain their full-time status.
Can an international student attend part-time?
No. All international students have to be registered for at least 12 credit hours each semester. ESL students take 20 hours of classes per week. ESL students who take less than 20 hours per week may need more time to complete the program.
What is the weather like in Pittsburgh?
Pittsburgh has four seasons: spring, summer, fall and winter. The average temperature in January, the coldest month of the year, is 30 F (29 C). In July, the hottest month of the year, the average temperature is 85 F (3 C). Make sure to bring some warm clothes, such as sweaters, boots, hats and jackets for the colder months. Winter clothes can be purchased in stores near campus.
What should I bring with me?
Please bring bedding, such as bed sheets, a pillow and a blanket. You should also bring personal items such as towels, clothes and shoes, pajamas, personal hygiene items, and perhaps some things to make you feel at home, such as family photos.
