Pay Your SEVIS fee

The SEVIS fee is a $200.00 payment required to process your visa application. This fee is paid by all foreign nationals in order to come to the United States to pursue a program of study at a college or university. The SEVIS fee is paid once for each continuous period of F-1 status. The fee can be paid online by visiting www.fmjfee.com or by Western Union. Please do not send the SEVIS fee to the College.

Apply for a Student Visa

Make an appointment to visit the nearest U. S. embassy or consulate. Collect the following documentation to submit at your appointment:

• A valid passport
• Appropriate visa applications (available at the embassy/consulate or online)
• Acceptance letter from La Roche College
• Supporting documentation detailing employment, reason for travel & financial status
• Proof of payment of SEVIS fee

The application procedures and supporting documentation can differ from one region to another, please check with the US Embassy in your country for specific requirements.

Submit your application, passport, and supporting documents to the U.S. embassy or consulate. The application will be reviewed and the consular officer will notify you of any additional steps required.

Once you have received your visa, you are ready to plan your transition to La Roche College! Please inform the Office of International Admissions that you have received your visa. We are excited you will be joining our community!
