Pittsburgh, PA -- MARC USA has awarded La Roche College a $5,000 grant to fund scholarships for outstanding minority art/design students enrolled in the College’s highly acclaimed graphic and communications design program.

“We have a long-standing relationship with La Roche, and we’ve been successful in recruiting and retaining high-caliber interns and graduates from the College,” said Fran Gargotta, executive vice president and chief executive resources officer with MARC USA.

Gargotta went on to congratulate the College on its commitment to its students and its contribution to the community by providing top-level talent for local businesses.

“This scholarship is further testament to the quality of our program at La Roche,” said Rosemary Gould, MFA, chairperson of the Department of Graphic and Communication Design. “With the help of companies like MARC USA, we can continue to provide opportunities for young visual communications professionals who want a quality education that will prepare them for the challenges ahead.” <
