Pittsburgh, PA -- She has appeared on “Oprah,” “The Today Show,” and other national programs to discuss her New York Times best-selling book, Random Family. This spring, author Adrian Nicole Le Blanc will visit La Roche College and conduct a book signing and discussion of her work. "Random Families: Voices From the Urban Underside, A Conversation with Adrian Nicole Le Blanc" is scheduled for Friday, April 2 at 7:30 p.m. in the Zappala College Center Square.

Random Family (Scribner, 2003) is an inside look at the drug trade in the Bronx, told through the lives of a drug kingpin named Boy George, his girlfriend, and their friends. A frequent contributor to The New York Times Magazine and many other journals, Adrian Nicole Le Blanc holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Smith College, a Master’s of Philosophy and Modern Literature from Oxford and a Master’s of Law Studies from Yale. She is from Leominster, Massachusetts.
