Pittsburgh, June 23 -- Monsignor William Kerr, outgoing La Roche College president, will serve as celebrant for his final mass on campus on Sunday, June 27. The mass begins at 10:30 a.m. in the Zappala College Center Square on La Roche’s East Campus.

“It has been a privilege to serve as president of this institution for the past twelve years,” said Kerr, the College’s sixth president whose current term ends on June 30. “This Sunday, I look forward to saying goodbye to longtime friends, alumni of the College and many people who have made my time at La Roche so rewarding and memorable.”

This past October, Kerr notified La Roche’s Board of Trustees that he would not seek a third six-year term. Kerr’s next appointment takes him to the nation’s capital, where he will serve as executive director of the Pope John Paul II Cultural Center. Succeeding him as president of La Roche College is Sr. Candace Introcaso, CDP, Ph.D., a member of the college’s Board of Trustees. She officially assumes her new post on July 1.
