“We’ve designed Summer College to meet the needs of many different kinds of people,” said Thomas Schaefer, dean of admissions and director of the Summer College.
For-credit courses being offered include accounting, advertising and public relations, communications, biology, economics, computer science, criminal justice, elementary education, English, finance, geography, graphic design, history, information technology, interior design, international studies, marketing, mathematics, nursing, philosophy, psychology, sociology, and speech. Abroad programs offer excursions to England, France, Greece, Rome and Spain.
“We’re also augmenting our Summer Dance Academy this year,” noted Schaefer. “College students who want to take dance classes for credit or high school dancers looking for advanced credit will have the opportunity to enroll in the academy. They may also be eligible for scholarships.”
