LA ROCHE OPENS CAMPUSES TO ADULT STUDENTS WANTING TO OBTAIN CONTINUING EDUCATION DEGREES
Pittsburgh, Oct. 4, 2007 — La Roche College is opening its doors to adult students interested in completing certificate, bachelor’s and master’s programs, tailored to fit busy lifestyles. Admissions counselors will be available to help open house attendees develop personal plans for completing their education as quickly as possible through traditional, accelerated and online formats.
The public is invited to attend one of the following open houses, sponsored by La Roche’s School of Graduate Studies & Adult Education:
• Oct. 18, La Roche’s main campus in McCandless, 4 to 6 p.m.
• Nov. 29, Regional Learning Alliance at Cranberry Woods location, 4 to 6 p.m.
People who attend either open house are invited to a business and human resources seminar offered as part of the La Roche College Professional Development Series. The seminar immediately follows the open house at each location. A $15 fee for the series will be waived for open house attendees.
The Oct. 18 lecture focuses on age differences in the workplace. The Nov. 29 seminar at the Cranberry Woods location focuses on using mediators to your organization’s advantage. It is presented in conjunction with KnowledgePoint Academy. For both seminars, light refreshments are served at 6:30 p.m., and the presentation begins at 7 p.m. Each seminar has been approved for two recertification hours toward PHR, SPHR and GPHR recertification through the Human Resources Certification Institute.
People who are unable to attend one of the open houses but are interested in learning more about the School of Graduate Studies & Adult Education may schedule a personal appointment with an admissions counselor at the location of your choice.
