Pittsburgh, June 6, 2008 – La Roche College has announced a new accounting certificate program through its Office of Graduate Studies & Adult Education. Starting with the fall semester, students may sign up for select classes that may help further a current career or open new job opportunities in this growing field of employment.

Students must complete a total of 10 courses for this certificate. Some of the required and elective courses being offered are: Accounting I, Managerial Accounting, Tax I and Cost Accounting. The goal of the program is to help supplement or expand a candidate’s accounting knowledge. A previous bachelor’s degree is not mandatory in signing up for this program.

Because the focus of this certificate program will be adult students who are working toward their CPA or CMA, the class schedule is designed to fit and complement a busy lifestyle.

For more information, contact the La Roche Office of Graduate Studies & Adult Education at or call the office at 412-536-1262.
