LA ROCHE STUDENTS NAMED WHO'S WHO NOMINEES
Pittsburgh, April 28, 2009 — Colleen Ruefle, vice president for Student Life and dean of students at La Roche College, recently announced that 55 La Roche students will be listed in the 2009 edition of Who’s Who Among Students In American Universities and Colleges.
These students were nominated by a faculty or administrator of La Roche College based on their academic achievement, leadership qualities, contribution to the social/cultural life at La Roche, and participation in community affairs. A selection committee reviewed the nominations, and 55 students were chosen for inclusion in the book.
The 55 students are: Sabbir Amin, Ihuoma Mambo Atanga, Anthony Atwood, Douglas Beacham, Ruth Ann Blum, Drew Bosco, Krista M. Chiappini, Geneile Coote, Sarah Culkin, Nancy Dal Dosso, Amanda Daugherty, Jemma Devlin, Elizabeth Fazzine, Shannon Feeny, George Githiaka, Shannon Glasgow, Knastassia Glaze, Kelly Graham, Chelsea Gumienny, Kevin Gyke, Farah A. Hannoun, Jillian Henzler, Meredith Holbert, Gregory W. Hoover, Ellen Horn, Yasmina R. Hough, Renee Ippolito, Eliza M. Jones-Consiglio, Whitney Kerr, Albulena Krasniqi, Amy Elizabeth Leavengood, Massimo Lista, Martin T. The nominees will not only have their name listed in the 2009 edition of Who’s Who, but graduating seniors will also be awarded a certificate at the Honors Luncheon on Friday, May 8, and they will be recognized during the Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 9.
