LA ROCHE TO HOST SUMMER VOLLEYBALL CAMP FOR MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
Pittsburgh, May 20, 2009 – Local students in grades 6-12 may attend a volleyball camp at La Roche College during June and July at the Kerr Fitness & Sports Center on the college’s North Hills campus.
Camp instructors are former La Roche volleyball players Nicole Bajuszik, Heather Graham and Megan Snyder. Snyder and Bajuszik are La Roche’s current head and assistant coaches, respectively. Graham coaches at Butler County Community College.
Students may attend two different camp sessions. The Day Skills Camp will focus on basic volleyball skills. It will take place Monday, June 15, through Wednesday, June 17, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Evening Skills Camp will highlight basic skills and focus on advanced-level skills. It will take place Monday, July 20, through Wednesday, July 22, from 3:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The cost of one session is $125, and the cost of both sessions is $225. The payment is non-refundable without 24-hour notice.
Each participant is responsible for providing her own lunch and snacks.
