La Roche College recently received several grants that will provide scholarships and educational materials to students.

The Sisters of Divine Providence gave the college a $144,000 grant. Most of that money will give scholarships to international students through the Pacem In Terris Program. The donation is part of the Sisters’ long-standing efforts to assist young men and women from developing countries who want to further their education.

ARCHIBUS, Inc., gave La Roche new software programs valued at $120,000. Facility management students at La Roche will now have this new technology at their disposal. ARCHIBUS is a Boston-based firm specializing in computer software programs geared toward facility management.

n addition, the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) Pittsburgh Chapter gave the college $5,000 to buy library research materials for facility management students. IFMA has also committed to giving La Roche another $10,000. That money will provide scholarships to students who want to enroll in the College’s facility management program.
