Pittsburgh, March 11, 2010 – People from a variety of backgrounds will benefit from and enjoy the upcoming seminar, “Treading Lightly on Hallowed Ground: A Biologist’s Journey to the Galapagos Islands,” in the ongoing Literary Society series at La Roche College. The seminar will take place on Friday, March 19, 8 p.m. in the Ryan Room, Zappala College Center, on the College’s McCandless Township main campus. The event is free and open to the public.

Gail Rowe, Ph.D., professor of Biology, La Roche College, will talk about her recent trip to the Galapagos Islands and how she hopes to take students there someday through a Study Abroad trip.
