PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SERIES, APRIL TALK SLATED
The final installment in the popular Professional Development Series VIII at La Roche College will tackle another business issue with “The Crossroads of Culture and Compliance: Developing a Compliance Culture and Making it Stick,’” at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 22, in the Ryan Room, Zappala College Center, on the college’s McCandless Township campus. Light refreshments will be available during at 6:30 p.m. informal networking reception. The cost of the seminar is open to the public and costs $15 per person.
Presented by Keith R. Abrams, vice president, associate general counsel and assistant secretary, Bayer Corporation, the seminar will feature Mr. Abrams’ industry insights and personal experiences with effective, comprehensive compliance programs and embedding good behavior within an organization’s existing culture. The session will focus on the impact of culture, drivers and strategies to improve and reinforce compliant conduct, and approaches designed to help make compliance self-sustaining.
Sponsored by the Department of Human Resources Management and the Office of Graduate Studies & Adult Education at La Roche, this seminar has been approved for two recertification hours toward PHR, SPHR and GPHR recertification through the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI). This seminar is also pending approval for two strategic HRCI credits.
