PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SERIES IX AT LA ROCHE KICKS OFF THIS FALL
Pittsburgh, August 26, 2010 La Roche College is pleased to announce the next installment of the widely popular series thats valuable to anyone who works in the business environment especially human resource professionals the Professional Development Series IX. Presented by the Department of Human Resources Management and the Office of Graduate Studies & Adult Education, the seminars take place on the La Roche College McCandless Township main campus, in the Ryan Room, Zappala College Center.

Thursday, Oct. 14 When West Meets East: The Five Crucial Competencies Every Western Leader Must Have to Succeed in India and China
Thursday, Nov. 4 Substance Abuse Issues in the Workplace: What Supervisors Should Know
Thursday, Dec. 2 Drug and Alcohol Problems in the Workplace
Light refreshments and an informal networking reception will take place prior to all seminars from 6:30 to 7 p.m., followed by the presentations from 7 to 9 p.m. The seminars have been approved for two recertification credit hours toward PHR, SPHR and GPHR recertification through the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI).
