LA ROCHE ALUM ORDAINED AS DEACON
PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania (July 6, 2011)—La Roche College proudly announces an alumni of the college, Jeffrey Hirst (’00), has recently been ordained as a deacon at Immaculate Conception in Washington, PA.
Hirst, a graduate of the M.S. in Human Resources at the college, is also director of the Department for Media and Technology for the Diocese of Pittsburgh. Hirst cites his faith and dedication to the Church for his achievement. “I have been blessed to know many holy and dedicated priests and deacons throughout my life,” he says. “Their commitment to serve their brothers and sisters in the Lord has been inspirational.”
