LA ROCHE WELCOMES NEW MEDIA RELATIONS SPECIALIST
PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvana (June 29, 2011)—La Roche College welcomes Cassandra Hough as the new Media Relations Specialist with the Office of Marketing and Media Relations. She has experience with both print and broadcast media, and was most recently the Public Relations Assistant for the Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC).
Hough is a 2007 graduate of Duquesne University, where she studied journalism, public relations and political science. Immediately following her time at Duquesne, she worked as a reporter and producer for the Herald Standard News 19 Magazine in Uniontown, PA. While at CCAC, Hough implemented a crisis communications plan for the college and served as a spokesperson as well. She also has experience as a freelance writer and proofreader.
“I feel La Roche is an ideal place to continue my passion for promoting higher education,” Hough says. “There are many exciting events taking place at the college throughout the next few years, making this a great time to join the La Roche community. I’m looking forward to working with the faculty, staff and students one-on-one.”
