JOE VILCHECK, M.A.T., TO SPEAK AT LA ROCHE COLLEGE ON JANUARY 18TH
AN EVENING OF “MAGICAL” MOTIVATIONAL TECHNIQUES FOR CURRENT AND FUTURE EDUCATORS
PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania (January 9, 2012) – Joe Vilcheck, M.A.T., a motivational speaker and educator, will present “Creating Magic: Success in the Classroom and Beyond” on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at La Roche College in McCandless Township.
Vilcheck will share with the audience his unique formula for empowering students to reach their full potential. He will teach educators to think “outside of the book” to engage all learners and learning styles. Plus, educators will discover why they should expect more out of “unreachable” students and that anyone can overcome seemingly impossible odds and succeed.
Vilcheck works for Allegheny Intermediate Unit 3 and teaches at-risk teens at the Shuman Detention Center in Pittsburgh. He incorporates magic and humor with research and proven educational strategies to capture and hold his students’ attention. He is the founder and president of MindCheck Motivation.
The 6:00 p.m. presentation at La Roche College is free and is preceded by a dessert and coffee reception at 5:30. A raffle of teaching supplies concludes the evening. Please register by Wednesday, January 11, 2012 to Michelle.Geracia@laroche.edu.
