PITTSBURGH – La Roche College will hold an open house for its Graduate Studies and Adult Education programs on Monday, Feb. 4 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in room 104 of the Palumbo Science Center on the College’s main campus.

“Anyone considering the possibility of returning to school to complete a bachelor’s degree or to enter into a post-baccalaureate or master’s degree program should attend,” said Director of Graduate Studies and Adult Education Hope Schiffgens. “The open house is an opportunity to learn more about our academic programs, scholarships and financial aid options. For students wanting to transfer to La Roche, we provide an unofficial evaluation of transfer credit before they even apply.”

Attendees can explore La Roche College’s 50-plus undergraduate majors and master’s degree programs in four high demand employment areas:

• Nursing: A flexible, online program with classes offered in an eight-week format with no additional clinical component. Available MSN programs include nursing administration and nursing education. Certificate programs include school nurse and forensic nurse.

• Accounting: A 30-credit program offering classes with an eight-week format. Graduates will gain the required hours to sit for CPA licensure.

• Human Resource Management: A 36-credit program with four concentration areas, eight certificate options and classes taught by faculty with experience in the fields of human resources, law and other corporate settings.

• Health Sciences: A nurse anesthesia program combining theoretical coursework with clinical-based education and practicum.
