U.S. NEWS & WORLD REPORT NAMES LA ROCHE COLLEGE A BEST REGIONAL COLLEGE
PITTSBURGH, Sept. 10, 2013 – La Roche College has been named a Best Regional College by U.S. News & World Report in its 2014 edition of the “Best Colleges” guidebook.
La Roche ranks 33rd on the list of Best Regional Colleges in the north. Schools listed as Best Regional Colleges focus almost entirely on the undergraduate experience and offer a wide range of liberal arts programs and the fields of business, nursing and education.
“Our ranking as a Best Regional College is a validation of the strong academic programs offered at La Roche College,” said Vice President for Academic Affairs and Academic Dean Howard Ishiyama. “This distinction shows our commitment to providing students with a complete undergraduate experience, our dedication to academic excellence, and our focus on preparing students for lifelong learning and success.”
The 2014 Best Regional Colleges list includes 367 colleges and features institutional data for categories such as peer assessment, graduation and retention rates, class sizes, student-faculty ratio, student selectivity, acceptance rates and alumni giving.
