ALUMNI HOMECOMING WEEKEND SCHEDULED FOR APRIL 12 TO 13 AT LA ROCHE COLLEGE
CELEBRATION TO INCLUDE 5K RACE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
PITTSBURGH, Feb. 25, 2014 – La Roche College invites all alumni to celebrate their alma mater at Homecoming Weekend from April 12 to 13.
On Saturday, April 12, La Roche will host a general reunion for all alumni and academic reunions for the following programs: nursing, nurse anesthesia and education. All alumni and their guests can attend the featured event, the Alumni Reception and Dinner, from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Zappala College Center. An open bar is included.
Additional events on April 12 include a “Ghosts and Legends” campus tour by La Roche alumnus and author Tom White, and an international alumni reunion and reception hosted by Sister Candace Introcaso, CDP, Ph.D., president of La Roche College.
Homecoming Weekend will conclude on Sunday, April 13. The final day will feature a 5K race on campus. The race is open to the community and offers challenges for all fitness levels. Other events planned include alumni softball and baseball games, a barbeque picnic, and a family activity with the Easter Bunny.
Director of Alumni Relations Gina Miller said, “Homecoming Weekend offers an opportunity for alumni to return to campus to maintain a relationship with their alma mater. We’re excited to invite all La Roche graduates to reunite with classmates, friends, faculty and administration.”
