Pittsburgh, January 23--Expect to change your driving patterns on the College’s East Campus this winter. Crews have begun making changes to the Duncan Avenue exit, in the hopes of making it safer. That crossing has been the scene of numerous accidents over the years.

Once the work is complete, cars exiting onto Duncan Avenue will only be allowed to make a right turn. Cars entering the East Campus from Duncan Avenue will also only be allowed to make a right turn. Crews have already begun widening the intersection to accommodate for the change. They will also install signs noting the change, and will make further enhancements to the crossing to discourage illegal left turns. The project should be complete in a month or so, depending on the weather. <
