Design Dialogue Series
What do the Walt Disney Corporation, Mick Jagger and Volkswagen have in common? They are all clients of Jordan Mozer, a nationally renowned designer who served as the keynote speaker for this year's Design Dialogue Series. Sponsored by the La Roche College Interior Design Advisory Board, the event was held at the Carnegie Science Center in Pittsburgh on Wednesday, October 26. Alumni of the College's interior design program joined current students, faculty, and other members of the La Roche community for the presentation.
Jordan Mozer is the founder of Jordan Mozer and Associates, Limited (JMA), an architecture and design firm in Chicago . JMA designs restaurants, shopping environments, hotels, furniture and lighting sculptures.
This is the third year for the Design Dialogue Series, which has brought noted interior design professionals to the Pittsburgh area for discussions with students and alumni of La Roche's interior design program. Previous presenters have included Shashi Caan, Contract Magazine's 2004 Designer of the Year and owner of Shashi Caan Collective, a firm in New York , NY ; and Janine James, founder of The Moderns, a multidisciplinary design think tank based in New York.
