SCOTT ROBINETTE, DEPUTY SECRETARY FOR SAFETY AND LABOR MANAGEMENT RELATIONS FOR THE PA DEPARTMENT OF LABOR AND INDUSTRY, AWARDED LA ROCHE COLLEGE’S 2012 OUTSTANDING ALUMNI AWARD IN ENGLISH

PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania (June 14, 2012) – La Roche College’s Outstanding Alumni Award in English was recently awarded to Scott Robinette.
Robinette graduated magna cum laude from La Roche College with a bachelor of arts in English in 1988.
After receiving his Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1992, he served as an assistant district attorney in the Bradford County District Attorney’s office. He then served as senior deputy attorney general for the Criminal Prosecutions Section and later the Insurance Fraud Section in the Office of Attorney General, Western Regional Office.
From 1999 to 2001, Robinette was an adjunct professor at La Roche College.
Robinette received the Attorney General’s Award for Excellence in 2006. In 2011, he was appointed Deputy Secretary for Safety and Labor Management Relations for the PA Department of Labor and Industry, Harrisburg, PA, a position he now holds.
