PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania (August 22, 2012) – La Roche College will host its annual Scott Lang Memorial Golf Classic at Wildwood Golf Club in Allison Park, PA, on Monday, September 24th.

The event is open to the public. Registration begins at 10:00 a.m. the day of the event. Golfers and guests may also register in advance at www.laroche.edu/golf. Or they may contact Bobbi Kress LaPlace, director of special events for La Roche College.

Greens fees, carts, gifts, contests and prizes are included, as well as a cookout lunch (at the turn) and a 4:30 p.m. reception and awards.

Participation in the golf event helps to support La Roche’s array of men’s and women’s athletic programs, where students learn the value of teamwork, sacrifice and dedication.

The event draws corporate sponsors, alumni, students and friends from Pittsburgh and the surrounding communities.
