TWO NEW MEMBERS NAMED TO LA ROCHE COLLEGE BOARD OF TRUSTEES

Pittsburgh – In September 2012, La Roche College named two new members to its board of trustees. They are Michael A. Mlinac of Southlake, Texas, and Nicholas D. Varischetti of Pittsburgh, PA.

Mr. Mlinac is the chief financial officer of the University of North Texas Foundation. He previously served as president and chief financial officer of Mlinac Management, LLC, and as executive vice president and general manager-emerging market at FMR LLC, a U.S. mutual fund company, retirement plan provider and brokerage firm. Mr. Mlinac is a graduate of La Roche College and the Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration.

Mr. Varischetti, an attorney, is an associate in the Pittsburgh office of Burns White, where he focuses his practice in the Business Practices, Construction, Environmental and Oil & Gas groups. Mr. Varischetti is a partner in Varischetti Holdings, LP, a family owned and operated company, and is a shareholder and director of Guardian Elder Care Holdings, Inc. He is also a member of Varischetti Sports, LLC, which owns a minority interest in the Pittsburgh Steelers.
