Scholar Program

The Scholar Program is a concurrent enrollment partnership between La Roche University and a number of Western Pennsylvania high schools. Since 1995, Scholar has enabled qualified sophomore, junior, and senior high school students to earn credits toward a college degree.

Early on, Scholar students are part of La Roche’s community, and we are hopeful that these students choose to remain at La Roche for their whole college experience. We believe in encouraging students to become lifelong learners who can participate in the resolution of social, political and moral issues that face our society today.

Why enroll in Scholar?

  • You could save money! Scholar program courses are only $235, a small fraction of the cost of standard tuition.
  • You could jump-start your college career with credits earned in academic core or general elective classes, not including any AP credits you’ve earned.
  • Scholar students surveyed report increased discipline and confidence in their ability to pursue higher education.
