Interested in working with computers or maybe working with the latest gadgets available through technology? Well then perhaps you are a technologist!
The Information Systems and Technology (IST) department prepares students to be professionals in the fields of Information Technology (IT) and Computer Information Systems (CIS). These 2 programs provide students with the theoretical knowledge and technical skills required to function in our information led technology world. To this end, our approach to students and the curriculum is one of interactivity with real world problem solving exercises/experiences. Knowledge, problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills are central to all IST courses. Given the ever changing technology environment, life long learning is also emphasized.
