Studied for 3 months at the Nanzan Institute for Religion and Culture at Nanzan University , Japan with a particular focus on the way different religious traditions influence economic assessments of environmental issues.
Continuing research interest in the development problems associated with "smallness", particularly small island nations like Malta .

Attended meetings of CIBES, a consortium of international business programs I the tri-state area.
