The La Roche College Student Government Association is a legislative body of the College and provides a link between students and administration/faculty. The Association currently compromises an executive council which includes the president, executive vice president, academic vice president, secretary, vice president for public relations and vice president for finance. In addition, there are boards which represent the concerns of students in various areas of student life, including: activities, graduate students, commuter students, multicultural students, organizations, publications, resident students and intramural. Each class on campus also elects its own representative. The association controls its own budget, which funds student activities and publication of the student newspaper.

As a legislative body of the College, the association's key role is to expressstudent opinions or needs to the College administration for consideration in the formulation of official policies. In addition, the association has the power to initiate proposals for academic programs. A complete set of bylaws is available upon request.
