Office of Student Life

Message to New Students:
My name is Henry Pinnix, and I am the Student Government president at La Roche College. I hope you are visiting our re-vamped site to find out more about student life at La Roche College! The Student Government Association (SGA) is a great way to get involved and meet new people on campus! I deeply believe students are the fire of La Roche College, which is why I encourage you to keep the fire burning and strong. I am delighted to announce that our college has a wide range of organizations, but without student participation, they become insignificant. Your voice and active participation is vital to the growth of our institution.
Becoming a member of a student organization is your prime opportunity to build lasting friendships as well as valuable skills. SGA is devoted to seeing you become involved; however, it’s up to you to take advantage of the opportunity and to become a campus leader like many have already pursued. As a freshman, I learned that the La Roche College experience is what you make of it. The more involved I became, the more memories I experienced. Despite some difficulties we may face, our college is a wonderful place. Ensuring that the student’ voices are heard is our foremost objective, and student organizations serve as a vehicle for achieving that goal.
We all must work together to move our college forward. I plan to play my role by serving the student body as SGA president and I hope you will help by joining a student organization. The time is now, and I stress that you find the value in participating in a student organization. Finally, I trust that you will have a great time as a student and an active member of the La Roche community.
