Sister Mary Joan Coultas provided visionary and outstanding personal leadership through her role as the fourth president of La. Roche College from 1975 to 1981. During her tenure, two residence halls and the Science Center were constructed. In addition, degrees in anesthesia, radiology, and registered nurse degree completion programs were instituted. She helped to develop the college's first Masters degree program in Human Resources Management. Sister Mary Joan is also recognized as a distinguished leader in the field of counseling psychology.
