La Roche University is
uniquely positioned to offer you, your organization or your business
the perfect meeting place. We are located less than 10 miles north of
Pittsburgh, with easy access to McKnight Road, I-79, I-279 and the
Pennsylvania Turnpike. We have plenty of free parking on campus,
eliminating the hassle of on-street parking or garages.
From small gatherings to large conferences, we have the space that will
best accommodate your needs. Our on-campus Public Safety Department and top-notch
catering services ensure that you will have all the resources necessary
to host a successful event.

Facilities
Conference/Meeting Rooms
Whether you’re hosting a luncheon for a dozen people or three-day business event that requires accommodations or hundreds of working professionals, La Roche has the facilities that meet your needs.
Both the Private Dining Room and President’s Dining Room are perfect for smaller gatherings. For larger meetings or conferences, you can reserve the Ryan Room or the Cantellops Dining Hall, both located in the Zappala Campus Center.

Advanced Technology
The latest innovation in 21st-century learning transforms into the perfect meeting space for your organization, especially if you need multimedia tools at your fingertips. La Roche’s classrooms and computer laboratories provide you with the accommodations necessary to host a meeting featuring almost any form of electronic media.
Each classroom has wireless connection for Internet access. The SMART Board, located in the front of the room, doubles as the projection screen for the video projector.
The rooms also have high-resolution document cameras that can capture two- and three-dimensional images and display them on the SMART Board.
In addition, most classrooms offer a state-of-the-art sound system, an LCD projector, a computer loaded with software and a flat screen monitor. Those attending your meeting can bring their laptop computers and tap into the network right at their seats.
Kerr Fitness & Sports Center
The Kerr Fitness & Sports Center is the perfect venue for youth sports camps or large meetings. It features a full-length basketball court; a fully equipped exercise room, complete with free weights, strength-training equipment and cardiovascular equipment such as treadmills and exercise bikes; dance studios; men’s and women’s locker rooms; and an indoor walking track.
A representative from the Office of Conference Services will talk with you about securing the basketball court as the venue for large-scale meetings, lectures or presentations (groups of 200 or more).
If you want to plan a sports camp, La Roche offers the use of its athletic fields, pavilion and expansive green grounds for your group. The University hosts a number of programs utilizing these facilities throughout the year.
Lodging Accommodations
Our four residence halls offer plenty of amenities if your event requires an overnight stay for guests. Each facility is located close to the Zappala Campus Center for an easy walk to your meeting space. Rooms include private bathrooms, microwaves, refrigerators and WiFi. Each residence hall also is equipped with lounges and meeting rooms for smaller breakout sessions or informal gatherings.
Catering Services
La Roche's catering services are provided by an external vendor that is experienced in delivering fine cuisine to any size group. Your conferencing representative and your catering representative work closely with your event team to make it a success.
The staff prides itself on offering individualized attention to each client, tailoring a host of options that will suit your needs. We can arrange for everything from bagels and pastries for a breakfast meeting to a full-course dinner for hundreds. We also can arrange for bartending services. Our wait staff prides itself on being prompt, courteous and attentive.
