STEM Savvy: May 12

STEM Savvy Registration Now Open. Register Early! Space is limited. Advance registration is required by May 4, 2018.

STEM Savvy is a science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) program combining workshops and hands-on learning. “Savvy” means there also will be a great opportunity to develop interest, excitement and self-confidence in exploring careers in STEM.  

Two special sessions for parents and families to learn more about STEM Careers with a panel of notable speakers and an interactive workshop led by Outside the Box Labs.

Cost:$5 per student (students will receive a t-shirt)
$5 per adult (Special sessions for parents and gardians)

    • Workshop 3 - Math: Exploding Dots
    • Workshop 4 - Engineering: Squishy Circuits
    • Workshop 5 - Technology: Computing with Finch Robots
    • Workshop 6 - Exercise Science: Muscles in Motion
     
    Noon to 1 p.m.Lunch
    1 to 1:45 p.m.Students pre-register ranking choice and attend one workshop.
