Contest Schedule 

Week of Oct. 1 
Theme: Autumn on campus/fall sports 

Autumn looks even better when we see it from your perspective. Enter your campus shots or fall sports photos using the hashtag #Hawktober.

Prize: One pair of Kennywoodf Phantom Fright Night Tickets. One winner to be announced on Instagram and Twitter Oct. 4.

 

Week of Oct. 6 
Theme: Fall Break 

How are you spending fall break? Show us using the #Hawktober hashtag.

Prize: One pair of Kennywood Phantom Fright Night tickets. One winner TBA on Instagram and Twitter Oct. 11.

 

Week of Oct. 15 
Theme: Pumpkins 

Painting or carving pumpkins? Pick up a La Roche-themed stencil in PSC102, or download and print your favorite. Submit your best work by Oct. 21!  

Prize: A pair of Cinemark movie tickets, a La Roche T-Shirt and a pair of Kennywood Phantom Fright Night tickets. One winner TBA on Instagram and Twitter Oct. 22.

 

Oct. 25 
Theme: Halloween Costumes 

Heading to the LAF Halloween Dance in the CC Square at 9 p.m.? Show us your costume. We’ll repost or retweet all submissions and select one random winner by 11 p.m.

Prize: A pair of Cinemark movie tickets, a La Roche T-Shirt and a Luciano’s Pizza gift certificate.

 

Rules 

  • You must be a current La Roche University student or faculty/staff member
  • You must follow @larochecollege on Instagram or Twitter and post your photos with the hashtag #Hawktober. Photos that do not include this hashtag will not be considered. Please note: We cannot view posts from private accounts.
  • All photos relating to contest themes must be submitted by the deadlines listed above.
  • Filters and editing tools are permitted.
  • All submissions should adhere to the social media policy at La Roche University.

Selection Criteria

The Office of Marketing and Media Relations will review all submissions and pick one winner at random each week. Winners will be announced on Twitter and Instagram.
