Global Problems, Global Solutions Panel Discussion: 6 – 8 p.m.

This evening panel discussion focusing on the legacy of La Roche College’s Pacem in Terris program will feature notable alums of the program and the impact it has made on their lives. Sr. Rita Yeasted, La Roche College faculty member and scholar, will moderate this discussion that will address the history and legacy of the Pacem in Terris program on the College, students, and surrounding community – then and now.

Global Problems, Global Solutions Panel Discussion: noon – 1:30 p.m.

La Roche international students will discuss how different countries are empowering youth to be peaceful leaders for the world.

Friday, November 30

Global Problems, Global Solutions Empathy Workshops: 9:30 - 11 a.m.
Magdalen Chapel

Students from the College’s La Roche Experience courses will explore the topic of empathy with a specialized workshop Gisele Fetterman created. Ms. Fetterman is the wife of the Lieutenant Governor of Pennsylvania and co-founder of ForGood PGH.

One of these 90 minute workshops will be open to the campus community. Registration is required to participate.

Global Problems, Global Solutions: Volunteer Activity with Vincentian Home: 11:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Volunteers from the La Roche community will support Vincentian Home, a senior living community through the Vincentian Collaborative System, by helping in the preparation and decoration for the Christmas holiday season. Transportation and lunch will be provided.  Registration is required.
